For every lover girl or boy ... an easy-to-read Teenage Love Romance Novel.
Lynn Painter does a profound job of drawing the readers into the full image of this teenage life. From drama between best friends, the death of her mother, to a childhood crush, Lynn Painter brings you right into the life of our main character Liz Buxbaum. Liz is a teenage lover girl and delusional teen! (I can relate.)
I read this book in 2 days. I was hooked from the first page.
I have NEVER read a book this fast before. I couldn't put it down! Liz and I were gonna get the boy!! It is the old age story of attempting to make another boy jealous by making him believe you were in love with a different boy. We've seen this a thousand times... doesn't it always backfire?
The novel starts off teaching us about Liz's mother who was the deepest lover girl. Although her mother passed away the book does a great job honoring how her mother taught her about love.
My inheritance was the knowledge that love is always in the air, always a possibility, and always worth it.
Lynn mentions so many rom-coms that we all know so greatly which only sets in the delusion of the story deeper and deeper. I could read this book over and over again. Lynn Painter provides so much depth to each character that I feel like I can go back and learn more about them each time.
The book is:
Real but Humorous
Not too Long, Not Too Short
Easy to Read
Memorable
Whether or not Liz gets the boy, I will never tell.
I think if you get the book you'll find out and you won’t be disappointed!!!
PS. In addition, there is a playlist in the back of the book! If you're a music lover like myself you love that idea.
