Hey Beautiful,
In a society that promotes romantic love as the ultimate goal, let me be the one to inform you...
All the love that you need is already within you.
You are your own greatest supporter, your dawn and your dusk, cherishing your own mind, body, and soul, and you deserve to let your inner light shine. There are things you yearn for or desires you may have; while desires are natural, some of the things you long for are waiting to be awakened within you! Everything you wish someone else would do for you, you have the power to provide for yourself!
Consistency
Time
Admiration
Intentionality
...LOVE
I want to enter this conversation about self-love by reminding you it is within you. As you awaken your own inner portal of love you will find:
"If I be confident in me, then I can be confident in all that surrounds me!"
Settling your heart in a posture of self-love provides you a fertile soil to grow in. Once you rest in self-love you find you're better able to support yourself, you find more contentment in your own season, you walk with a little more confidence, ultimately you find peace. You find yourself able to accept you for who you are, right where you are at. There is nothing else you need to do to be accepted and loved by yourself.
I do not owe myself anything, I do not have to meet any goals or accomplish any feats to defend my honor. NO, I love me today right where I am at.
Why is this important?
Nobody knows your story!
Nobody knows how you got here.
Nobody knows what it took to unlock this version of you.
I would go on record saying nobody really knows your struggle ... only you do!
& you deserve to celebrate yourself in that!
The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:13:
Three things will last forever - faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love. Maybe you're wondering why the greatest is love...
Love is Patient, Love is Kind, Love does not Envy, Love keeps no record of Wrongs
(Read More Descriptions of Love in 1 Corinthians 13)
Imagine being patient and kind with yourself.
Imagine no longer being worried about what anyone else has.
Imagine forgiving yourself for your wrongs and never bringing them up again.
The Greatest is Love
It is In You
It is For You
It is waiting For You
