I Am Ever-changing

I was walking on my favorite trail last weekend and was captivated by the trees. They're strong and beautiful and deeply rooted but there was something else I was studying within the trees. They're constantly changing.

If you were to go on that trail today and then go back in 6 months nothing would look the same. God made his creation so diverse that it is constantly changing. The Earth ebbs and flows in unison. With the seasons, the rain, the wind and the sun everything is reactionary.

It is the same for us. We should be ebbing and flowing. I shouldn't look the same every 6 months, and neither should you. Like the tree, life's events will change how you look, how you stand and how you are positioned.

In a dry season I may be droopy.

After I've been fed by the rain, I may stand taller.

In a storm I may lose limbs but no matter what I still stand.

Like the tree I was made to change through the seasons and so were you. We can't expect to stay the same, we were made to be ever-changing.
