Sometimes we feel unsettled, unsure, and a little lost.
This is normal. Life can be so unpredictable.
I am a firm believer that we all struggle with these types of feelings. Think about it. Life is new! You’ve never done this before and you won’t do it again.
At times you feel stuck in the mundane. You can be unsure where to go next. You can experience frustration about your situation, all of this is normal. When you think “perfection” should be your ability. When you struggle because you think you should just “know what to do next” please give yourself grace…
Proverbs 16:9 states:
We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.
The Lord knows we really don’t know where to go next. So he walks very closely with us to direct us. Imagine a baby walking for the first time .. their parents stay very close. They hold their hand to ensure the child doesn’t get hurt. However…
God can’t help us, he can’t order our step, if we won’t walk! So for every reader please be encouraged by this writing to WALK.
Take a step.
Don’t be afraid to take the wrong step.
Start somewhere.
You have the ability to walk & walk well.
& if you end up walking in the wrong direction God will redirect your path.
Below are a few tips for walking when you’re unsure:
Slow down…
Take a deep breath.
Reset!
Go back to the last thing.
Pray & Be Still.
Do what feels best.
Chase after what you enjoy.
When you’re sprinting you don’t have the ability to slow down and redirect your path. The first step is to slow down, take a deep breath, reset, observe your current space.
At times, the reason we don’t know what to do next is because we didn’t finish the last thing… Go back to the last thing you were doing and see where you stopped. Why’d you stop? How do you get back into it?
I recommend praying and being still because at the end of the day the Author of our story is God. He wants to guide you into the success you’re looking for but you must seek him for him to do so & don’t rush him. We operate very quickly between instant gratitficaton and a microwave life …we want everything immediately. Well, God isn’t confined to our time … he does it in his. So seek his face and then wait for help.
There have been times I was stuck between two decisions and they seemed like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Making the choice isn’t always easy and sometimes it’s not black and white. Go with the option that seems best for you even when both options seem unfavorable.
Last but not least.
You only have one life to live.
So, chase after that you enjoy! Do what makes you feel happy and fulfilled and extend patience to yourself as you figure out how the pieces come together.
If you stop by this blog and it helps you make a decision or feel better about a decision please leave a comment 🖤.
What decisions have you had to make recently?

I loved the advice to go back to what it is I may not have finished and the reminder that we are new to life. Mistakes will be made but allow God to correct your path.
