Women are Indispensable.

If you Google the definition of woman you'll see the simplest of terms:

An Adult Female Human Being

the definitions go on to proclaim:

A Female Individual

Female Adults in General

and what was most intriguing:

a disrespectful form of address to a woman: example : "shut your mouth, woman!"

So, this term "woman" can be used to define who I am as an adult female but can also be used as a derogatory term to tear me down.

So, your Women's History Month Reflection today is what do you think about when you think of "Woman"?

As a woman, I try to think of the beauty of us. They way we're made physically, the way we're wired mentally and our ability to lead others spiritually. I think of the hard work of women before us that fought for our rights to work, vote and survive alone. I think of our abilities to dominate sports, birth children and create without borders.

I also think of the brutality we face in both corporate spaces and at home. I think of us being considered second class citizens when in actuality we are the foundation for the success of the first-class citizen (man). Women were made by God to support the man in his endeavors. Instead of considering us a threat we should be considered as a primary source of opportunity.

Women are Essential.

Women are Developmental.

Women are Love.

Women are Indispensable.

I want to encourage you to ponder on that today...
